Release & distribution
From the finished production to a worldwide audience
An outstanding music production deserves a release of equal quality.
At Cybele the work does not end with the final master. Through our own label Cybele Records, founded in 1994, we accompany selected productions all the way to international release and digital distribution.
From the final master through format preparation to delivery on the relevant streaming and download platforms, the whole chain comes from a single source.
Modern release formats for the highest sound quality
Listening habits today combine the tradition of physical media with digital formats.
We therefore cover what music distribution requires today, from the standard CD to high-resolution formats:
- CD production for our artists on request, including the conception and realisation of an individual pressing with design, editorial work and proofreading
- High-resolution stereo releases
- Immersive audio with Dolby Atmos, surround and 3D binaural stereo for headphones
- Apple Digital Masters – we are a certified Apple partner
- Digital distribution (streaming and download) on leading international platforms, among them Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Spotify, Deezer, YouTube Music and 7digital

In doing so we combine decades of label experience with contemporary release formats, creating productions that meet the highest artistic and technical standards alike.

Cybele – more than a label
Since 1994 Cybele has stood for exceptional productions in classical and contemporary music.
Our aim is not to release as many titles as possible, but to accompany particular artistic projects over the long term.
What counts:
- musical quality
- lasting visibility
- innovative recording methods
- careful presentation
- permanent availability
For artists and institutions
Whether a complete in-house production, a commissioned production or the release of an existing project:
we develop the right approach together – from the first idea to international presentation.
We stay with our artists beyond the release itself:
from the recording through mastering and format development to distribution.
For a recording is not completed with the finished master.
It begins where an artistic idea takes shape – and it lives on when it reaches its audience.
