Great art deserves outstanding sound

Art as an inner stance. Sound as responsibility. Technology as a shaping force.

With us, producing becomes an inner stance – a fine ear, an open mind and uncompromising quality. Behind every one of our recordings stands a conviction: the wish to make what is alive perceptible. Productions that think artistically and speak to the senses. Works that remain – in the room, in the ear, in the innermost self. From the artistic vision to international release – bespoke immersive music productions at the highest level.

All from one source

From the recording to the 360° world.

Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber

Missa Salisburgensis

Chor St. Michaelis Hamburg · Freiburger Barockorchester · Jörg Endebrock

360° VR production with 44-channel recording technology

The monumental Missa Salisburgensis for 53 voices is among the most extraordinary works in European music history. Its spatial layout, with several vocal and instrumental groups, unfolds its particular effect through the interplay of sound, architecture and space.

Details

For this production, the complex musical structure was captured with an elaborate 44-channel recording setup.

The 360° VR recording gives a direct view into the historic interior of St Michaelis Church in Hamburg and combines the visual presence of a concert performance with a precisely crafted sound production.

Biber’s singular polychoral writing thus becomes not only audible but comprehensible in space.

An immersive encounter with Bach in a historic setting.
Violist Atilla Aldemir performs works by Johann Sebastian Bach at St. Agnus Church in Köthen — a place closely connected to Bach’s life and artistic legacy.

Details

The 360° VR production combines the visual presence of the historic church interior with an immersive spatial sound experience. Viewers experience the musical interpretation not merely as observers, but as an immediate part of the acoustic space.
The location gains an additional historical dimension through the fact that Johann Sebastian Bach made his confession in this church. The church is therefore experienced not only as an architectural setting, but also as an authentic place in Bach’s biography.

Our philosophy

What we stand for.

Can a recording move you as deeply as hearing it live?

For us, music is not a technical signal but lived experience. Sound quality means respect – for the composition, for the artists and for the audience.

High-resolution recording methods, native DSD, Dolby Atmos and 3D binaural stereo are not ends in themselves for us, but tools. The technology follows the music – not the other way round.

An exceptional production often begins before the first note: in conversation with the artists, in understanding the work, and in the right room. We accompany them as partners – from the artistic vision to the finished production.

Listening does not begin in the ear – but in the mind.
