Classical music at the highest resolution
hd-klassik is the high-resolution label of Cybele Records, presenting a curated selection of classical productions of particular quality.
The name stands for high definition in the fullest sense:
not only for technical resolution, but for a particularly clear perception of sound, space and musical interpretation.
Sound & standards
At the centre are recordings that convey classical music with the greatest possible transparency, natural spatial depth and the finest dynamic detail.
The productions are made in modern high-resolution formats and draw on what current audio technology makes possible:

- immersive audio formats such as 3D binaural stereo and Dolby Atmos

hd-klassik hardware: Headphone Optimizer
Besides its recordings, hd-klassik developed two headphone amplifiers with individual acoustic optimisation: the Headphone Optimizer Unit (HOU, 2015) and the Headphone Optimizer Pro (HOP, 2016) in 19-inch format. Both have been part of the reference monitoring chain at Cybele Studio since 2015/2016 – years before Dolby Atmos reached headphones via streaming services.
