The modernisation of the Cybele Studio control room has been completed successfully. The previous 7.1 surround monitoring system has been extended to a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 control room, which now allows immersive audio productions to be mixed and assessed professionally at the highest level.
The new room is laid out purely as a post-production control room. Here immersive audio productions in Dolby Atmos are mixed, checked and prepared for release under reference conditions. It also offers ideal conditions for assessing and quality-checking virtual reality and 360° video productions, where the spatial interplay of image and immersive sound can be examined precisely.
With the conversion complete, Cybele’s range of services is consistently extended into immersive audio production. The best possible conditions are thus in place for the professional post-production of contemporary three-dimensional audio and media formats.
