Born in 1966, Bodo Hartwig is a qualified sound engineer, freelance radio author and sound artist. He studied audio and video engineering and piano in Düsseldorf and has worked since 1998 for public service broadcasting in the fields of spoken word, radio drama and television. In 2007 and 2008 he was an artistic associate at the chair of experimental radio at the Bauhaus University Weimar. His works range from soundscape compositions in stereo, 3D and surround through sound installations and sound objects to artistic photography; for „Golden Goal“ he shaped urban Berlin sounds into an electroacoustic miniature.
