Georg Börgers is a German cellist whose focus lies in new music. At the Inventionen festival in 1992 he played cello in the Ensemble Köln in programmes with works by Gérard Grisey, Robert HP Platz, Dieter Schnebel and York Höller. The festival’s list of performers records four appearances by him in that year. His activity is thus documented in the archives of a central forum for international contemporary music.
