Heiner Gulich is a saxophonist, arranger and music teacher. He teaches saxophone at the Technische Universität Dortmund and, as a lecturer, jazz saxophone at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. At the Musikschule Hattingen he works as digital agent and helps to shape, among other things, the work of the Monday Night Orchester and of the Pop- und Jazzensemble. His musical practice comprises big band, jazz, pop and soul arrangements as well as experimental music-theatre projects. He plays saxophone on the Undine albums Doc Heilein and Friends Gala 2021 – Joyful (2022) and Doc Heilein and Friends Gala 2023 – Ich will keine Schokolade (2023).
