Laura Alvarez is documented as a pianist in the field of new music. In Günther Becker’s work *Zeitspuren* for two pianos she took the second piano part alongside Benjamin Kobler. Deutschlandfunk presented the recording, made in the Kammermusiksaal Köln, in its portrait of Günther Becker’s piano works; the edition published in 2017 likewise lists Alvarez as pianist.
