Linda Guo

Born in Cologne in October 1999, Linda Guo received violin and piano lessons from the age of five. At nine she became a junior student at the Pre-College Cologne; she completed her bachelor’s degree in violin with Mihaela Martin at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in 2023 and continued her master’s studies with Erik Schumann in Frankfurt. Competition successes, the NRW young talent award for music in 2016 and her Carnegie Hall debut at eighteen mark her early artistic path. Since September 2024 she has been a member of the first violins of the WDR Sinfonieorchester and at the same time performs regularly in chamber ensembles.
