Ralph Caspers

Born on 18 January 1972 in Borneo, where his parents worked for the Orangutan Foundation International; Ralph Caspers is a German television presenter, author and speaker. After his Abitur in 1991 at the Antoniuskolleg Neunkirchen-Seelscheid he studied from 1997 to 2002 at the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln. From 1998 he presented the “Maus Club”, and since 1999 he has been part of the team of the “Sendung mit der Maus”; from 2001 to 2022 he presented “Wissen macht Ah!”, since 2010 “Quarks” and “Frag doch mal die Maus”, and from 2011 to 2016 “Du bist kein Werwolf”. He has also written and recorded numerous children’s books and non-fiction books. He has been honoured, among other things, with the Prix Jeunesse International in 2002, the Grimme-Preis in 2012 and the Bundesverdienstkreuz in 2019. He lives in Cologne.
