Born in Siegen in 1987; Timo Böcking is a pianist, organist, composer, arranger and producer. After training as an electronics technician he studied from 2010 at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, where he teaches piano as a lecturer. Böcking is professor of piano at the Evangelische Popakademie Witten, where he was a lecturer in piano from 2016. With Gospel with Passion he released his first album of his own in 2015; it was followed by Keep going (2018), Herz + Mund (2019/2020) and Beflügelt (2020) with the violinist Anna Dorothea Mutterer, among others. In 2019 he was musical director of the closing service of the Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchentag in Dortmund.
