Valerie Eickhoff

Mezzo-soprano

Valerie Eickhoff was born in Herdecke on 10 May 1996. She completed her singing studies with Konrad Jarnot at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf with distinction, supplemented by master classes and scholarships. After periods in the Opernstudio Niederrhein and the opera studio of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein she became a member of that company’s ensemble, taking roles including Rosina, Hänsel and Cherubino. Since the 2024/25 season she has been a member of the ensemble of the Semperoper Dresden. Her distinctions include third prize at the ARD International Music Competition in 2021 and the OPUS KLASSIK as young artist of the year 2024.
