Alban Lenzen was born in Munich and received his first vocal training with the Tölzer Knabenchor. He studied concert and opera singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding. After permanent engagements at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven and the Landestheater Coburg he has worked freelance since 2008 and has appeared as a guest at the Theater Chemnitz, the Stadttheater Freiburg and the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, among others. His repertoire ranges from Leporello and Figaro through Mustafà, Escamillo and Ford to Wotan, Kaspar and Méphistophélès. In 2004 Cybele Records released Michael Denhoff’s Credo with him as baritone soloist.
