Alban Lenzen was born in Munich and received his first vocal training with the Tölzer Knabenchor. He studied concert and opera singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding. After permanent engagements at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven and the Landestheater Coburg he has worked freelance since 2008 and has appeared at the Theater Chemnitz, the Stadttheater Freiburg and the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, among other houses. His repertoire ranges from Leporello and Figaro through Mustafà, Escamillo and Ford to Wotan, Kaspar and Méphistophélès.
