Harry-Ed Roland is an American composer, musician and advocate of electroacoustic music. After a Bachelor of Music he has worked with electronic media since the 1980s and has developed compositions for stage, film, video, tape and multimedia contexts. His works have been performed and broadcast internationally, joining instrumental and electronic sound sources to a marked sense of dramaturgy and space. Alongside composing he is committed to bringing experimental sound art to wider audiences.
