Born in 1930, died in 2021; Heinz Albert Heindrichs was a German composer, poet and conductor. In the 1950s he studied German literature, music and art in Bonn; he was trained in composition and conducting at the Musikhochschule Köln. His poetic output is larger than his compositional one, and at times he combines the two, as in the composition Atem für Atem, which goes back to his poem of the same name. In the Cybele catalogue he appears on ..für: Works for Campanula (+Harp) (2024), recorded by Michael Denhoff and Ute Blaumer.
