Born in Paris on 19 December 1910; Henri Bronschwak was a French violinist. He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he won a premier prix for violin, and subsequently appeared as a soloist. Within the French radio orchestra scene he made his name first as principal of the second violins and later as leader; documents also name him in connection with the Orchestre national de la R.T.F. Bronschwak stands for the elegant French orchestral and chamber music tradition of the mid-twentieth century.
