Jack Morrow is the composer of the song “Percolator”, recorded in 1958 for RCA Victor by Boots Randolph, credited on the label as Randy Randolph, and produced by Chet Atkins. The German version “Ich will keine Schokolade”, with lyrics by Carl-Ulrich Blecher, became Trude Herr’s first hit in 1960; she also sang it in the film “Marina”. On the gala recording Doc Heilein and Friends Gala 2023 – Ich will keine Schokolade (2023) Matthias Heilein sings “Ich will keine Schokolade”, which gives the album its title.
