Maria Vittoria Crotti was born in Parma in 1982 and is an Italian violinist. Her training took her from the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, where she took her diploma with Ladislau Petru Horvath, to the summer academy of the Mozarteum Salzburg, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and the Russian Academy for Advanced Musical Studies in Portogruaro. On a scholarship she studied for three years in Philadelphia with Lenuta Ciulei. From 2002 she was a finalist of the European Union Youth Orchestra and a member of the European project SIXE, with which she gave concerts in Europe, Egypt and Greece.
