Philipp Schepmann

Born in Stuttgart on 1 January 1966; Philipp Schepmann is a German actor, speaker, audiobook performer, dubbing actor and director and the son of the actor Ernst-August Schepmann. From 1989 to 1993 he studied acting at the Folkwang Universität der Künste. He then performed at the Aalto-Theater Essen, at the Städtische Bühnen Münster and at the Bühnen der Stadt Köln; since 1997 he has worked freelance for radio, stage and television, among other things in “Lindenstraße”, “Alarm für Cobra 11”, “Wilsberg” and, from 2002 to 2007, as the lead in “Mensch Markus”. As a dubbing and video game speaker he has worked on series such as “Bleach”, “Fullmetal Alchemist” and “Hunter × Hunter” as well as on the “Assassin’s Creed” and “The Witcher” series. For “Der König von Narnia” he was nominated in 2006 for the Deutscher Hörbuchpreis as best speaker; he runs his own recording studio, the ps-audio Studio.
