Born 1959 in Ulm; Thomas Anzenhofer is a German actor, speaker, singer and musician. From 1980 to 1984 he studied acting at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, followed by engagements at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schillertheater Berlin, Residenztheater München, Schauspielhaus Bochum and Berliner Ensemble. He reached a wide audience not least in the role of Tobias „Dobbs“ Steiger in the television series „Der Clown“. Alongside theatre, film and radio he develops musical stage programmes and readings in which language, voice and song are brought together.
