Tomáš Netopil

Conductor

* 1975 in Přerov; Czech conductor; studied violin and conducting at the Kroměříž Conservatory, the Prague Academy of Music and with Jorma Panula in Stockholm; winner of the Sir Georg Solti Conducting Competition in 2002; general music director of the Aalto-Musiktheater and the Essener Philharmoniker from 2013 to 2023.
