Born 1953 in Friedberg in Hesse; Werner Cee is a German composer, sound artist, radio author and director. In the 1970s he studied at the Städelschule Frankfurt and worked first as a visual artist and in the experimental rock and free scene. Later his focus shifted to media art, sound and light installations and electroacoustic composition. For WDR, Deutschlandradio, HR, SWR and BR he has realised numerous Ars Acustica productions in which sound, noise, architecture and narration become listening spaces in their own right.
