Gloria Rehm

Gloria Rehm studied singing in Berlin with Bernd Riedel. In 2010 she received third prize at the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin, in 2011 second prize at the Internationaler Gesangswettbewerb Mainau and in 2013 first prize at the Richard-Strauss-Wettbewerb München; in 2017 she was awarded the Deutscher Theaterpreis DER FAUST for her Marie in Zimmermann’s “Die Soldaten” at the Internationale Maifestspiele Wiesbaden. In 2011/12 she was a member of the Internationales Opernstudio of the Oper Köln, from 2012 to 2014 a member of the ensemble of the Oper Köln and from 2014 to 2019 of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden. Her repertoire comprises coloratura roles such as Zerbinetta, Gilda, Konstanze and the Queen of the Night as well as music of the 20th and 21st centuries, among them Luigi Nono’s “Intolleranza 1960”, Unsuk Chin’s “Alice in Wonderland”, Hans Werner Henze’s “Das Floß der Medusa” and works by Jörg Widmann. In 2018 Cybele Records released Oskar Gottlieb Blarr and the Jesus-Passion with her as soprano soloist.
