Violin

Violinist who devotes himself mainly to chamber music and gives more than a hundred concerts a year in Europe, North America and Asia. His teachers were Igor Volochine, Pavel Vernikov and Véronique Bogaerts; he completed his studies with Michael Frischenschlager at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. His awards include first prize at the Luigi Zanuccoli international competition in Italy (2017). Since 2016 he has been a member of the Trio Spilliaert, with which he recorded the trios of Désiré Pâque (2021, Cyprès). With the pianist Jean-Luc Therrien he pursues a French-Canadian duo project whose first CD “Fantaisies” appeared on Klarthe in 2022; he also forms a duo with the guitarist Raphaël Béreau. With the Icelandic band Arstidir he recorded the album “Nivalis” (2018). In the Cybele catalogue he plays the violin on the album Jacqueline Fontyn: Trios (2022).
