Japanese percussionist; she studied at the Tokyo College of Music with Momoko Kamiya and Atsushi Sugahara and completed her master’s degree and Solo-Konzertexamen at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart with Marta Klimasara and Klaus Dreher. In 2020 she won the 2nd Prize and the Willem Vos Award at the TROMP International Percussion Competition in Eindhoven, in 2021 the 1st Prize of the Southern California Marimba Competition; at the 68th International ARD Music Competition in Munich she was a semi-finalist. She played at the Festival Percussion PULSE 2020 in Copenhagen and toured Europe from 2022 to 2024 as a multi-percussionist in the project Electronics (Worakls Orchestra). With Meng-Fu Hsieh and Xia Yuan she forms the Trio NHX. On the album Jean-Pierre Leguay: Jubilus (2024) she plays Leguay’s “À Deux” for vibraphone and piano with the pianist Sabine Sauer.
