Pianist based in Stuttgart; her artistic focus lies on contemporary music and chamber music. She received her piano education initially from the piano pedagogue Paul Buck, then studied with Shoshana Rudiakov at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart and with Heinz Medjimorec at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien. Her artistic development was strongly influenced by her personal connection to the pianist Werner Haas, whose recordings of the complete works of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel sparked her early enthusiasm for the sensuality of sound in French piano music. Her concert career as a soloist, chamber musician and song accompanist has taken her to several European countries and to Brazil; she has performed at the International Bach Festival Canarias, the Düsseldorf Festival and the Salzburger Festspiele, among others. At the International Summer Academy of Music in Ochsenhausen she supervised the composition classes for many years and gave numerous first performances in that capacity. Since 2014 she has taught piano at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. She has been engaged with the music of Jean-Pierre Leguay for many years and has given the first German performances of several of his works, among them the sextet “Jubilus”; Leguay dedicated his piano piece “Momenti” to her in 2022. In the Cybele catalogue she is represented by the albums Jean-Pierre Leguay: Momenti – Works for Piano (2024), awarded an Opus d’Or by the e-magazine Opus Haute Définition, and Jean-Pierre Leguay: Jubilus (2024).
