Oli Bott is a German vibraphonist, composer and bandleader. He studied vibraphone and composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston with Gary Burton and Bob Brookmeyer and graduated summa cum laude in jazz composition in 1996. In Berlin he works as a freelance musician and conducts his own jazz orchestra. His music joins the sonic delicacy of the vibraphone to improvisation, complex arrangements and stylistically open ensemble formats.
