Christoph Anders is a multi-instrumentalist of the Frankfurt experimental and improvisation scene. The International Archives for the Jazz Organ document his playing on piano, synthesizer, guitar, saxophone, violin and organ, as well as his collaboration with Alfred Harth, Heiner Goebbels and Chris Cutler. In Rolf Riehm’s WDR radio piece *Machandelboom* of 1982, Anders played electric guitar and drums and also took part as a voice; it was first broadcast on 12 January 1983. His work combines instrumentally shaped sound action, language and free ensemble practice.
