Ensemble Tra I Tempi

Ensemble TRA I TEMPI was founded in Bonn in 1993 and is devoted to contemporary music, concert formats and music theatre. Under the musical direction of Michael Veltman and Prof. Friedrich Jaecker, the eight-member group, flexibly cast from project to project, works with flute, clarinet, percussion, keyboards, voice and strings. In the series “Erlebnis Neue Musik” at the Theater im Ballsaal Bonn the ensemble realises first performances, portrait concerts and programmes devoted to composers such as Julius Eastman, Giacinto Scelsi and Morton Feldman. TRA I TEMPI thus joins repertoire work, discovery and an open view of the present.
