Hans Mittendorf-Labiche

Composer

Born 1952 in Seesen; Hans Mittendorf-Labiche is a German composer and sound artist. He studied in Göttingen and at the Royal College of Music in London and worked at the Xenakis UPIC studio with the graphically controlled methods of sound synthesis developed there. His music moves between instrumental composition, electronics and choreographic thinking. In it he explores algorithmic composition, live electronics and the union of sound, movement and space.
