Born in Kennett, Missouri, on 11 February 1962; Sheryl Crow is an American singer and songwriter. Her debut album “Tuesday Night Music Club” appeared in 1993, born of sessions to which Bill Bottrell invited musicians every Tuesday from August 1992 at his Toad Hall studio in Pasadena. For “All I Wanna Do” she received the 1995 Grammys for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance; in 2023 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On the gala recording Doc Heilein and Friends Gala 2021 – Joyful (2022) Levin Blümel and Leslie Jost sing “All I Wanna Do”, which she wrote with Kevin Gilbert, David Baerwald, Wyn Cooper and Bill Bottrell; the lyrics go back to Wyn Cooper’s poem “Fun”, and in 1994 the song spent six weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
