Organist and conductor, born in Waldshut am Hochrhein; studied Protestant church music in Freiburg im Breisgau and organ and harpsichord in Toulouse, and in 1997 completed her postgraduate studies in organ with Guy Bovet in Basel and in conducting in Freiburg, both with distinction. In 1991 she won first prize at the organ competition in Toulouse, and in 1994 third prize in Calgary. Since 1997 she has been cantor of the Erlöserkirchengemeinde in Bad Homburg, where she directs the Bachchor and the Kammerchor. From 2006 to 2009 she was professor of choral conducting at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf; in October 2011 she began teaching at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. On the albums Arrangements for 2 Organs and Percussion (Vol. 1) (2017) and Arrangements for 2 Organs and Percussion (Vol. 2) (2019) she plays the Klais organ of the Lutherkirche Wiesbaden, with Jörg Endebrock and Konrad Graf.
